GIGABYTE is preparing an AGP 4650

Looks like AGP is not going to go away after all. GIGABYTE is making a AGP flavor of the HD 4650 for all of those people that have not moved to last year’s technology.
There is no word on the clock speeds but they will probably run at stock.
The pricing is already fixed though and should come in around $110.00

Gigabyte has prepared the GV-R465D2-1GI, a Radeon HD 4650 that makes use of the ex-trusty and definitely old AGP port. Seen below, the card features quite a big cooler, 320 Stream Processors, a 128-bit memory interface, 1GB of memory, and D-Sub, DVI, HDMI outputs.
The GV-R465D2-1GI’s clocks are not mentioned but they may be the ‘default’ 600 MHz for the GPU and 800 MHz for the memory.
