G.Skill introduced ECO low-voltage DDR3 memory kits, these modules for the Intel Lynnfield platform run at a voltage of only 1.35V.
The XtremeSystems Forums member s7e9h3n got his hands on a sample of AMD’s upcoming 12-core Magny-Cours Opteron. This chip is expected to be released in Q1 2010 but s7e9h3n (don’t try to type his name fast!) already had the opportunity to do some overclocking, he managed to raise the clockspeed of the chip from 1.7GHz to 3GHz.

Intel is set to release a new model Core 2 Duo E6600 processor. I remember buying one years ago when it was clock at I think it was 2.4 GHz. The new E6600 will now be tagged under the Pentium processor label and is based on a 45nm Core 2 Duo core.
