Netgear have outed two new wireless home networking products at CeBIT 2010 today, the High-Performance Wireless-N HD Home Theater Adapter (WNHDB3004) shown here, and the Ethernet to Wireless Adapter (WNCE2001) for easily bridging wired devices to a wireless network. The Home Theater Adapter is apparently capable of supporting multiple simultaneous Full HD 1080p streams, and comes with pre-configured security settings so that, after a single button push, the two towers are linked.

As for the frequencies it uses, there’s a WiFi a/n chipset on the 5GHz band, paired with a 4×4 MIMO antenna. Netgear reckon it’s stable enough to guarantee 40Mbps HD streams 99.9-percent of the time, and it’ll work with your Xbox 360, PS3, Apple TV, Wii, Blu-ray deck or PC, among other devices. The Netgear High-Performance Wireless-N HD Home Theater Kit (WNHDB3004) will go on sale in Q3 2010; pricing to be announced closer to the time, but both the pair of towers and individual units will be available.

The Netgear Ethernet to Wireless Adapter (WNCE2001), meanwhile, connects via ethernet but gets its power via a USB port; that means you can – assuming the device you’re plugging into has a power USB free – avoid having to find an AC outlet for a separate PSU brick. It also uses WiFi-N technology, and will go on sale in May 2010 priced at $79.

Onkyo is one of my personal favorites when it comes to AV receivers. They recently announced the upcoming release of two 7.1-channel home theater systems with advanced audio processing, including support for all current audio formats, including the vertical dimensions added by ProLogic IIz.

The HT-S7200 and HT-S6200 surround sound systems are rated at the same 130 watts per channel, with a speaker system that includes an active 230W subwoofer. Onkyo’s U-Port iPod dock is included with each system.

The HT-S7200 has one extra HDMI 1.3a input, at five, compared to the HT-S6200′s four inputs. The HT-S7200 can upscale signals connected via components and composite inputs to 1080i. The HT-S7200 sports tower front speakers with dual 3.25-inch woofers and a 1-inch dome tweeter. A center channel has the same arrangement of drivers. The speakers are available as a stand-alone package known as the SKS-HT870

The HT-S6200 system has single 4-inch woofers and one 1-inch balanced dome tweeter on the three front speakers and 3.25-inch full range drivers in the surround speakers. The 10-inch subwoofer has a 230W power rating on either system.

The Onkyo HT-S7200 and HT-S6200 are available now, priced at $899 and $699, respectively. The SKS-HT870 7.1-channel speaker package costs $499.

Samsung announced their upcoming release of newest Blu-ray home theater system, the HT-BD3252.

The 5.1-channel system includes wireless rear speakers and an integrated Wi-Fi connection for access to a multimedia library found on users’ PCs. Rated at 1,000W of total power, the system sports bio kelp speaker cones and has an automatic sound calibration feature that includes a microphone to tune the speakers for a specific room layout. A range of HD audio formats is supported, including the most recent Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio standards.

The HT-BD3252′s bundled Blu-ray player supports BD-Live content, allowing it to access online content found on select Blu-ray discs thanks to an Ethernet port or the included Wi-Fi USB dongle. Paid and subscription services such as Netflix and Pandora are also accessible directly from the player’s interface. This fall, a promised firmware upgrade will connect users to Blockbuster OnDemand video service as well.

Local playback options include a connected USB device, a portable hard drive, the aforementioned networked PC and an iPod dock. Remaining connections comprise a single HDMI-CEC output, a composite output, two HDMI-CEC inputs and an optical input.

The HT-BD3252 will ship in August, priced at $799.
