Twintech announced their TwinBox HL-N Series ION™ Mini PC today, which is powered by Intel Atom Processor D525 CPU with Next Generation NVIDIA ION graphics technology.

This Android powered tablet features a 1Ghz Cortex A8 processor, 512MB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage, with an expansion MicroSD card slot for up to an additional 32GB of storage. The Galaxy Tab comes with a 1.3MP front-facing camera and a 3MP rear camera with LED flash, perfect for taking images in the dark.

The device also comes with a 4,000mAh battery, good for up to 7 hours of battery life. The Galaxy Tab is 3G data-ready, and has a 5Ghz dual-band 802.11n WiFi built-in card. The tablet also has a speaker on the bottom of the device, similar to the iPad, and supports Bluetooth. The Galaxy Tab has a 30-pin dock connector port on the bottom of the device, that allows HDMI, USB and other accessories for docking or adding onto the tablet, all fitted into a 7-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 (WSVGA). CNET got a little hands on time with the Samsung Galaxy Tab and, surprisingly enough, the 7″ Android powered device looks promising:

Wowzers, that took them a while. How long does it take to get an 8GB memory card to the market? If you’re Eye-Fi, and the card is the WiFi 802.11n-toting Eye-Fi Pro X2, then it’s a couple of months; the company has announced that its latest wireless-enabled memory card is shipping from today, promising faster transfer speeds and improved overall performance.

According to the Eye-Fi blog, that’s all down to their new X2 engine, which bundles together a 200 MHz ARM926 processor with an MMU, dedicated flash and radio interface engines, and encryption acceleration hardware. Combined, they’re good for improved WiFi-triangulation geotagging accuracy and “Endless Memory”, Eye-Fi’s new system whereby images and video are automatically deleted from the X2 once the card has verified that they’ve been correctly uploaded to the server.

The Eye-Fi Pro X2 will also come with Eye-Fi Center, the newest version of the company’s desktop manager app for PC and Mac. Eye-Fi Center will also be available for existing Eye-Fi owners, though so far we can’t find it to download on their site. As for the Eye-Fi Pro X2, that’s available for $149.99.

Wireless networking with 802.11n is fast enough for many of us who only want a wireless router to connect a laptop to the web without cords. If you use your wireless network for moving lots of large files from computer to computer or streaming HD video you have probably wished for higher speeds. TRENDnet has unveiled a new 802.11n router called the TEW-691GR that promises to hit speeds of 450Mbps.

The router operates on the 2.4GHz spectrum and uses three spatial streams per antenna to hit the 450Mbps max. Normal 802.11n routers have a maximum speed of 300Mbps. Wireless coverage is boosted with MIMO tech and the router has a Gigabit WAN port and four Gigabit Ethernet ports for local computers.

Security is a big feature with the router as well with encryption and a firewall to protect the network. Traffic needing bandwidth is prioritized by the router with QoS technology. Wi-Fi Protected Setup makes it easy to setup a connection with supported wireless adapters with the press of a button on the adapter and the router. The TEW-691GR will ship in May for $159.99.

Netgear have outed two new wireless home networking products at CeBIT 2010 today, the High-Performance Wireless-N HD Home Theater Adapter (WNHDB3004) shown here, and the Ethernet to Wireless Adapter (WNCE2001) for easily bridging wired devices to a wireless network. The Home Theater Adapter is apparently capable of supporting multiple simultaneous Full HD 1080p streams, and comes with pre-configured security settings so that, after a single button push, the two towers are linked.

As for the frequencies it uses, there’s a WiFi a/n chipset on the 5GHz band, paired with a 4×4 MIMO antenna. Netgear reckon it’s stable enough to guarantee 40Mbps HD streams 99.9-percent of the time, and it’ll work with your Xbox 360, PS3, Apple TV, Wii, Blu-ray deck or PC, among other devices. The Netgear High-Performance Wireless-N HD Home Theater Kit (WNHDB3004) will go on sale in Q3 2010; pricing to be announced closer to the time, but both the pair of towers and individual units will be available.

The Netgear Ethernet to Wireless Adapter (WNCE2001), meanwhile, connects via ethernet but gets its power via a USB port; that means you can – assuming the device you’re plugging into has a power USB free – avoid having to find an AC outlet for a separate PSU brick. It also uses WiFi-N technology, and will go on sale in May 2010 priced at $79.

After a bit of a tease, the folks at reigncom have taken the wraps off their new P35 personal media player. Having mastered good product design long ago, iriver is now intent on bringing its interface and user experience up to snuff. After all, anyone can make a rectangular, touchscreen media box these days.

The P35 features the SPINN navigator we’ve seen before, an accelerometer for automatic portrait and landscape orientation, and ships in a 8GB basic model or a 16GB version with options for DMB television (with mini remote control) and/or 802.11b/g WiFi. The 128.3 x 79.7 x 17.8-mm white slab comes packing a 4.3-inch LCD with 480 x 272 pixel display and rich audio and video codec support that iriver players are synonymous with. It also sports a full browser (WiFi version only), support for UCI widgets (with open API), and even an “FTP server” if we’re translating the Korean announcement correctly. And the new batch of seemingly finger-friendly UI shots are just as tantalizing in their simplicity as they were in the tease. Unfortunately, we’ll have to reserve judgment on the all important “experience” until we get one of these pups in-hand. On sale now in South Korea.

iriver announced the P35 WiFi-enabled PMP just after CES with few details, but it looks like we’re getting closer — the company’s just put up an interface teaser video with a countdown clock.

From the looks of things, the UI will be pretty slick and touch-friendly, but it’s hard to get a sense of the actual feature set — guess we’ll find out in just under 70 hours.
