ATI has just released their latest Catalyst video driver, version 10.8. This new release will bring with it official support for anti-aliasing (AA) in Starcraft II, and improved performance in games such as Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead 2 and Stormrise. The driver also includes support the OpenGL ES 2.0 specification, which continues ATI’s commitment to open source development tools.

AMD uploaded a new humorous marketing video to warn gamers against using Fermi-based graphics cards. The video makes fun of the high power consumption and heat generated by NVIDIA’s high-end GeForce GTX 400 series graphics cards.

Gigabyte introduces a more powerful addition to its Super Overclock Series: GTX 470 SOC (GV-N470SO-13I). The GV-N470SO-13I also features WINDFORCE 3X, a 14 phase PWM design, OC Guru graphic card smart tuner and voltage read point.

If you bought a regular clocked GeForce GTX 460 from eVGA then good news, they decided to increase the clock frequencies to be a little more competitive. eVGA slapped it all around a marketing program called Free Performance Boost.
